Pulling my weight around here
It blows my mind that babies, in a matter of months, go from helpless blobs that can barely move their heads, to army-crawling masses of muscle. Malia has recently gone from scooting (for the past few months) to crawling across a room in under a minute (she's just turned 7 months). I have watched this girl begin rolling over before she was 3 mos. old. She scooted and pulled her body across the floor to get to toys. She's practically done head stands while using her head to help her mobility. She will use every body part and every last ounce of energy to get a toy, a speck of lint or her sister's foot. If I expended half the energy that she expends on a daily basis, I would have quite the ideal body fat index, that's for sure. As I watch my kids, I often marvel at their energy level and the genius of perhaps bottling that energy for myself...hmmm...how does one go about that? The things I could accomplish, the jeans I could fit into and the confidence earned would be truly remarkable!
